The diagram illustrates the process of producing electricity through one type of coal.
Generally, the process has 7 stages with mining coal and ending with producing electricity for factories.
The process starts with the stage of exploiting coal from a mining area. After that, these kinds of coal are crushed and then transported to gasifiers. At this place, coal is heated up and produces an amount of gas. This amount of gas is conveyed to an area for cooling down. During this cooling process, waste heat can emerge.
Following that, there is a step to purify the gas in a different venue. Subsequently, the cleaned gas is transported to another place which is a gas power plant. There, like the cooling step, this stage can produce an amount of waste heat. Electricity can be made there and transported to electricity factories.
