The two diagrams compare the appearance of the Rampart street at present and the transformation that is going to take place in 2035.
Overall, Rampart is planned to undergo significant development, with new facilities and infrastructure, replacing previously the road for transports with a pedestrian zone and bike lane. Key changes will include the addition of entertainment buildings such as pub, restaurant, gift shop, exhibition centre, and florit’s centre. In light of these changes, new constructions are going to take place in west side of the street.
Presently, the old castle, which is located in the north, is secluded by a fence that will be removed in 2035. Add to this, a pond will be created near the renovated castle, encircled by trees. To the west of the castle, the list of entertainment buildings, such as pub and restaurant are built up next to the remained food store for commercial purposes. Furthermore, in opposite site of the apartment blocks with houses, are constructed a small gift shop with bench outside, whereas enormous exhibition centre which includes open-air exhibition facilities are constructed to promote art among inhabitants, behind the saved hotel. The construction site in the south-east will be transformed into a florist’s area. The last but significant shift is the vehicle road which is planned to become a pedestrian road with bike land in order to increase the recreation level among citizens by walking on this road. All other buildings in east side of the street are not dislocated and remained in their previous places.
