The illustration presents the changes that have taken place in a university library since 2005.
Overall, the library has experienced numerous transformations, most notably with the introduction of an automated book borrowing area, along with the additional private study desks in the center.
In 2005, the whole library was covered with bookshelves on the northwest corner and a smaller one on the left side of the entrance. There was a library office in the bottom-right corner of the library, which was adjacent to desks with computers. At the center, several study tables are laid directly in front of the entrance, which was in close proximity with the book borrowing and returns.
Thereafter, this library has experienced several transformations. Noticeably, it has been equipped with two automated book borrowing areas on the western section. In the southeast, the previous library office, bookshelves and desks with computers have been transformed into desks for student laptops. Similarly, the center nowadays has been developed into private study desks with numerous separated blocks, replacing the book borrowing and returns. The bookshelf in the middle top section experiences no changes over the years.
