The line graph illustrates the data of energy used from renewable energy in USA between 1949 to 2008.
Overall, cumulative consumption of renewable energy has increased randomly from 3 Btu to almost 8 Btu in the period of 50 years.
At first, hydroelectric power and wood both has almost the same amount of Btu
Which is slightly lower than 2. Unfortunately, hydroelectric power had an early increase at the end of the 1950’s, whereas wood remained steady until 1975. In the end of the 50 year period, both hydroelectric power and wood ended up at the same consumption of quadrillion btu which was around 2.
If we look at other subjects, we can see biofuels and wind, both of which did not increase in almost 30 years until 1980. However, both biofuels and wind had a low increase with wind is slightly lower at the start of 1980. Wind and biofuels increased exponentially after the year 2000.
