The pictures highlight the process by which wool is produced.
There are various stages in the process, starting with the shearing of sheep and finishing with end product – balls of yarns -, that is then used for knitting or producing woolen products after which can be sold in the stores.
The process commences with sheep being shorn for their wool so that it can be cleaned. Once wool has been dried in sunshine, it then undergoes a process where it is spun. Spinning results in both usable raw material and string which is then gone through recycling. After spinning stage, wool is turned into tufts so that they could be sent and packed in the tuft storage.
Finally, in order to produce market-ready products, like jackets and carpet, balls of yarn are formed in the tuft storage. Meanwhile, once they are made, they can also be used for knitting.
