The diagrams illustrate a cross-section of a picture frame and the front view of two picture frames.
Overall, a picture frame includes multiple components such as a frame, a glass, and clips. The front view can be different depends on the type of frames. For example, a silver frame and a wood frame.
From a cross- sectional view, there are the glass and the backing which can be wood or cardboard between a photograph. To make them stay in their place, the frame will be around the glass and the backing. In addition, clips are attached to the backing for hanging the picture frame to a wall.
It is a rectangular frame for both silver frame and wood frame. For the front view of the silver frame, it is a thin frame with 20 cm in width and 30 cm in length. On the other hands, from the wood frame’s front view, its frame is thick. Similar to the silver frame, the length of the wood frame is 30 cm with 19 cm width which is a slightly shorter than silver frame.
