The maps show the transformation of a cinema between 1980 and today. Overall, the cinema has undergone significant modifications. It used to serve a small number of people at a time; however, following the redevelopment, the cinema’s capacity has increased, with all the new amenities, such as recreational and eating facilities along with additional cinema rooms, being carefully arranged to better serve the visitors.
In 1980, the cinema offered very limited facilities. Upon entering the building, ticket and drink rooms could be found on the right, while cinema room 1 was located to the left of the entrance. There was also another cinema room in the top right corner, and a toilet was across the hall. The map also featured a car park at the rear of the building.
Since then, the cinema has significantly transformed. The most notable change has been the expansion of the building which came at the expense of the car park. Although the ticket room and the toilet have been preserved in their original position, the room for drinks has been converted into a DVD shop. Similarly, where cinema room 1 stood, there are now rooms for relaxation and food/drinks, showing the cinema’s commitment to improving the visitor experience. The number of cinema rooms has also increased substantially to 5, with cinemas 3, 4, and 5 aligning vertically on the right wing of the building, while the other two are standing on the left.
