The flow chart illustrates the information regarding the process of producing and recycling glass containers such as bottles. In general, there are nine steps in total starting with the mixing of chemicals to Moulding it into new products.
It can be clearly seen that firstly, different materials such as sand, soda, ash, limestone and other chemicals are mixed together into the form of mixture then the mixture is melted in glass furnace at high temperature around 1500* c, after melting the molten glass, it is given a shape of containers or useful products, then the containers are ready for sale in the market.
Probing further, to recycle glass containers used glasses are collected from shops, factory and houses secondly, it is sorted on the basis of colors, thirdly the sorted glasses are washed to remove the impurities then the washed glasses are crushed and melted. Finally, the melted glass is Mould into new products.
