The diagrams illustrate the process of forming coastal areas form sedimentary rock. Overall, while the process contain many steps, the transportation of stone fragments from the mountain to the sea bed and being transformed into sedimentary rock under the sea.
The process begin with rain falling on the mountainside, filling the cracks and fissures with water. When the water starts to freeze, it cause the fragment in them; then, the dislodged rocks and stones fall down into the river. In this period, they will ragged into small pieces, turning into pebbles and grains of sand. Afterward, these stones are being transported down stream into the river moving to the sea.
The process continue with the forming of the sedimentary rock. Due to the erosion, the huge stone form the first become smaller and smaller, transforming into pebbles. These pebbles accumulate into layers on sea bed, where they will be mixed with water and water-borne chemicals. Because of the high and low tie, the sediment will move near the mountain base and creates the coasts
