The diagram below explains the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.

Overall, the facilities that are given are houses which had disappeared, school which was named differently, farmland that was transformed into sports field, and car park that was added.

In 1950, the diagram shows the divison of four sectors. Firstly, the main road while in front of it are houses next to it is the school. Under the houses we have the farmland beside it which is the playground.

In 1980, the houses that was on the left side disappeared into two sections the car park and science block, school had a slight change of the name which is school main building. Sports field was transformed from farmland. Playground remained the same.

In 2010, car park got wider in size and sports field and playground was moved. It had been duplicated into both larger sectors and smaller ones regarding the car park it had the largest sector over the last years. Over the last 60 years playground remained the same but with a slight change of space.
