The diagrams illustrate specific information about the plan of a preschool classroom in 2010 and now.
Overall, it is clear that there are differences between classrooms in 2010 and now. Specifically, a classroom of 2010 had play area in south-west and north-west, whereas a classroom of now has play area only in north-west and furthermore an art area has been added in north-east.
To begin with common elements of the two classes, we can identify that books area is south-west, dolls and toys are north-west, art supplies are north and sink are south-east of classrooms. It is observed that the layout of 2010 was different as play area was south-west and north-west, teacher’s desk was west and front of the classroom tables and in the east were whiteboard, media system, puzzles and blocks. Moreover, moving in the diagram of classroom in now, we can see that the play area are only in north-west, classroom area have transferred in west and art area have added in north-east. Lastly, it seems that there isn’t teacher’s desk and the east area has replaced from smart-board, speakers and computer.
