Overall it is clear that it takes 5 years to be an adult fish and be in an open ocean. An adult salmon grow about 14 times bigger than it was in lower river.
In upper river full grown salmon lay their eggs between stones and reads and it take around 5 to 6 months to hatch those eggs. After that these little baby fish swim to lower river and stay there for approximately 4 years. after that they approach to open ocean and stay there until they become adult which takes approximately 5 years and then they again move to upper river to lay their eggs. That is how their life
There is some noticeable comparisons, like in upper river water remain lie moving which is good for eggs to be in one place and in lower river water move fast where they learn swimming. When they were fry size they were like 3 to 8 cm and after 4 years they become 12 to 15 cm long and an adult salmon approximately 70 to 76 cm long.
