The first diagram illustrates the steps in the lifecycle of the silkworm and the another diagram shows how the silk cloth is produced. it can be seen that both process consists of various steps to produce the end product.
At the first stage, the eggs are taken 10 days to turn into silkworm larva, which are survived by taken their foods from mulbery leaf and needed around 4-6 weeks to convert into larva that made silk thread to cover their body. after that, the thread is shifted into cocoon that taken 16 days to come out the final phase moth. Finally, the moth is layed the eggs, this is how the cycle is continued.
In the second process, at first it recquires cocoon to produce silk cloth, after selecting the cocoons, those are given to the big jar for boiling. Next, the boiled cocoons are unwinded to make thread with 300-900m. Following the process, those threads are twisted and dyed in another jar with desired color. At last, the final products are arived by the last step named weaving.
Overall, it is clear that, the lifecycle of silkworm and the production of silk cloth are complex and tedious processes with many steps.
