The diagrams states the steps involved in the production of the silk cloth and it also tells us about the life cycle of the silkworm.
In the first step of the first diagram the moth lays the eggs. Then after the duration of 10 days the silkworm larvas eat the mulberry leaf which is their food. After 4-6 weeks are passed the larva comes out of the silk thread. then in the last step we can see that the cocoon is formed.
In the first stage of the second diagram the cocoon is selected for the formation of the silk cloth. After the cocoon is selected the cocoon is boiled in water. Afterwards the cocoon is taken out of water and it is unwinded into a thread about 300-900m long. After the unwinding is completed the threads are twisted together and are dipped in the dye. finally, the weave is created which is also dyed afterwards.
