The two given diagrams depict a present college building and its renovation plan in 2020.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the layout will undergo significant changes to serve students’ demand, while the road and the bus station at the south remain unchanged. The footpath and the garden will be vanished to widen the car park and enhance more utilities.
Looking firstly at the present map, there is a car park located on the west side. Moving onto the eastern, a complex consisting of a lunch area, three classrooms, reception, library, and water closet is located. A footpath has been constructed to separate the parking area from the amenities area. At the northern and southern extremities, a garden and a bus stop are respectively situated along the road.
In terms of 2020’s renewed plan, it is evident that a footpath and a garden will be demolished for the expansion of the car park and amenities area. Meanwhile, a repurposement will be considered in the students’ shared space, with the addition of the shop in the northwest corner and two extra classrooms. Four classrooms will be placed adjacently, with the remaining positioned next to the library in the southwest. Reception will be planned to move in the center of the area, whereas the toilet will be relocated to the northside. One prominent shift in the renovation plan that can be clearly seen is the extension of the bus terminal.
