The data reports the outcome of the survey performed to know the level of ability to manage personal finances of UK students across distinct age groups.
Upon studying the data, it is evident, students above the age of 26 years are more financially organized compared to younger ones. Besides a large chunk of individuals are fairly organized.
More than three-quarter students considered them to be ‘very’ or ‘fairly’ organized, constituting a large share of it from individuals aged in between 23-25 years and above 26 years with a percentage share of 26% and 35%, rest occupied by students aged 22 years with a 18% share count. Hence, proving the saying that ability to manage one’s finances comes with age and experience.
Conversly, 20% of individuals think themselves to be not competent enough in terms of finance management. While 4% students are listed to be incompetent in the field.
Overall, almost all students manage to make good use out of their savings. Except with a small percentage.
