The given figures illustrate the transformation of a student dorm from 2010 to the present.
Overall, even though the student housing remains almost unchanged in size, it has seen a significant development with the layout, especially in the number of student bedrooms.
Back in 2010, on the outside, the accommodation was surrounded by gardens, specifically on the North and East. There were a total of 3 student bedrooms, one was on the left hand side while walking through the main entrance, and the other two were on the Southeast and Northeast sides of the house. Additionally, there was a kitchen right in the middle of the student bedrooms on the East and a living room right beside the Northeastern bedroom. The bathroom is located in the center of the dorm, next to the remaining bedroom.
To the present, the garden on the South was demolished, in order to convert it into a car park. The living room on the East, and the garden on the Northwest of the accommodation were torn down for the addition of 2 bedrooms, totaling 5 student bedrooms. While the kitchen stays the same, it is now also a social area for the learners. Also, the hallway is now shrunk in size so that it can make room for the en-suite, right in the South.
