The plans displayed how the layout of a school library has changed compared to five years ago.
Overall, the library has been modernized with more focus on study areas and technology, replacing some older facilities such as the classroom and library office.
Five years ago, the library had a classroom in the top left corner, a meeting room in the middle left, a borrowing and returning desk at the bottom, and a library office at the end on the right. There were tables in the middle for studying, and a large computer desk on the right.
In the current layout, some areas have been replaced and used for different purposes. The classroom has been converted into a recording studio, and the library office was removed and replaced with a conference room. The study tables are now in individual areas, allowing students to study with more privacy. The previous desk for computers has been replaced by desks for students’ laptops. The borrowing and returning desk has been divided into two separate areas, while the meeting room remains unchanged.
