The diagrams outline the modifications made to a school library following renovations.
Overall, even though the library’s layout hasn’t altered much, the additions make it possible for more people to utilize it for meetings and independent study.
Five years ago, the library used to have four study tables in the middle of the space, with two enormous bookcases at either end. The library office was located on the right, with the classroom and meeting room on the left side.
The transition from desktop to laptop computers is currently reflected in the replacement of one bookshelf with a desk for students’ laptops. The study tables have been converted into more individual study areas and are now in greater quantity. In addition, a recording room has been built and the borrowing and returning area has been divided into two rooms. A conference room has been created out of the library’s office.
