The table illustrate the visits to abroad places by UK residents from year 1994-98 for different purposes like for holiday, business, visits to friend and relatives or for any other reasons. The second table depict the destinations like Western Europe, North America, other abroad places visited by UK residents by main region from 1994-98.

Here, from general trend, it is clearly visible that the number of visits overall raised till the end of 1998 or more, despite some minor fluctuations in 1997. The most prefered reason for visit was holidays. Furthermore, the most favourable spot for UK citizens was Western Europe. The same increasing trend follows in the second table with some downgrades in 1995.

For the first one, The number of people for holidays in 1994 were 15,246 and reached 20,700 in 1998. Total number of migrants also raised from 22,072 to 28,828.

For the second one, The most favoured spot Western Europe with 19,371 visitors in 1994 reached its peak of 24,519 in 1998. Moreover, Total citizens on holidays had also increased from 22,072 to 28,828.
