The flow diagram depicts the working of an order processing system of a business offering computer hardware.
In general, the task commences when a customer places an order and gets completed when the product reaches the consumer. It consists of multiple steps which also involves decision making at several check points. It takes about 8-12 stages to complete the entire operation.
The process begins with accepting an order which is then checked for its veracity. If the order is proved to be authentic, it is passed forward for the rest of the operation otherwise, the transaction is terminated.
The confirmed good are checked for availability if the goods are not available, they are produced and stored the customer is then informed about the availability. The system then checks if the consumer has paid for the order or not. If the customer has already made the payment the goods are sent out for courier else, they are notified about the remaining payment. Once, the payment is received the order is couriered and the customer receives the products.
