The flowchart illustrates the process of aluminium cans recycling.
Overall, this process includes 5 steps, starting with collecting aluminium cans and ending with the final reuse products. At the first stage, containers are placed in the recycling area to collect aluminium cans that are used. Next, these used AI cans are put into a machine to clean ,sort, shred and compress. After that, the employees put the aluminium cans which are in average condition into the heating machines.
In the following step, processed aluminium cans are placed into a rolling machine for the purpose of flattening it thicker around 2.5 to 6 millimetres. Over the period these recycled cans are distributed to various companies in order to be recycled and used for their different canned products. At the final stages of the process, the final products are sold in the store and gain significant figures. In the data, 74% recycled cans are regarded for human consumption in the UK.
