A map displays the process of releasing a book.
Overall, it can be noted that the whole workflow consists of 9 steps, starting with writing a book and concluding with its delivery to bookshops. The calculation of the time for the entire process showed that it takes up to 24 months.
Initially, the book is written by the author and then sent to publishing houses for a review. There, editors read and evaluate it carefully. If the publishing firm accepts the book, a contract is drawn up between the author and the publisher. An important step after signing a contract is to determine the design and appearance of the book inside. After a while, a final decision regarding the cover of the book is made, consequently, the book is fully prepared for the remaining process.
After these stages, the book is sent to be printed. When pages are printed out, they are collected together and covered with the same jacket. The last part of the procedure comprise the delivery of prepared books which are sent to the bookstores
