Overall, youngest generation tended to get higher indicators in activities, which requiers energy, while old adults prefered more quite passtime. Both ages wasted a great number of time on watching TV, whereas the less amount of time on “relaxing, thinking” among yongest and “sports, exercise, and recriations” among oldest.
Ages 75 and over have almost twice higher score in the watching TV section, that is 4.5 hours per day compared with 2.4. Moreover, 15-19 ages are 5 and 6 times lower in reading and “relaxing, thinking” sections, that show the differences 0.2 and 1.0, 0.1 and 0.6.
On the other hand, “socializing, communicating” almost equally, although teenagers have 0.1 hour per day more than adults, that have 0.8 and 0.7. Other sections have higher results among yongest, for instance 1.1 and 0.5 in the playing games/computer use for leisure and 0.6 and 0.2 in the “sports, exercise, and recriations”.
