Overall, it is clear that banking accounted the most of economy of France, while automotive section underwent a significant decline over twenty years, and remained the lowest financial industry.
To begin with, banking stood and over the 30% in 2000, which is at the same level as tourism in the year of 2010, whereas it was ten percentages lower a decade ago. The figure for banking then rose to 37% by 2010 and continued to increase till it reached it is peak at about 41% in 2020. However by 2020, the proportion of tourism industry fell considerably to around 21%, which was the same in 2000.
