The bar chart illustrates the estimated number of sentenced prisoners of three different races: White, Black, and Latino, per 100,000 residents in the United States in December 2010.
Overall, the majority of prisoners are black among all the age groups and the lowest are from white people. Also, people between the ages of 18 and 41 are more involved in crimes than the oldest age groups.
The estimated number of prisoners in the age group 18 – 25 are majorly from Black over 6000 members and the least from white nearly 1000, while the Latino race is in between the two around 3000, this number continued the same with the people up to 41 years, except the blacks with 26 to 33, crossed almost 7000 prisoners. Furthermore, there is a decline in crimes by the people in the age groups from 42 to 65, which eventually fallen to the number less than 500 prisoners aged from 58 to 65.
