The graphs illustrate the percentage of GDP in three distinct occupation sectors, which were natural resources, industry and services. While the table displays the employment rate and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) they produced.
Overall, the two graphs revealed that the service sectors played a major role in producing the highest GDP as compared to other employment sectors.
From the table shown, albeit the employment rate in the natural resources is the highest, they only produced GDP of 19.2%. Moving on to industry site, its employment rate of 3.6% produced 15.4% of GDP. Henceforth, 15.2% of people working under services produced the most GDP, documented at 58%.
Interpreting from the line graph, in year 1986, services started at just below 70% initially. It then declined gradually to 60% between 1988 and 1989. It experienced further decreased to approximately 50% at the end of study. Whereas natural resource sector provided 25% of GDP, reached a declined to 20% in1992 before gaining a marginal peak to just above 20% in 1993. Then it experienced another fall to below 20% in 1995. As for the industry sector, it provided around 15% of GDP initially in 1986, it then rose gradually to almost 20% till the end of survey period.
