The two bar charts show the number of males and females played electronic games and how much gamers preferred to play 5 different type of games in South Korea over 2006.
Overall, it is obvious from first image that all proportion of male gamers are more than females in every age group with 20-29 aged people have the highest among all age groups with both genders. Notably, in the second chart, percentage of role playing gamers are leading the group and other type of games having the lowest among all type of games.
As for percentage of total gamers, 20-29 age group with males are 36% and females are 10%. This is closely followed by 13-19 age group with difference of 10, men are 18% and women are 8%. Under 12 and 30+ age groups followed somewhat behind with respective figures of men are 9%, 11% and 4%, 2%.
In terms of proportion of preference among all games, role playing games having the highest with 49%. This is in stark contrast to other kind of games and simulation with only 1% and 10% respectively. Strategy is lower than action with 2%.
