The following line graphs illustrate the yearly precipitation in two American states.
The amount of rainfall is measured in mm over the months of the year. Generally, a slightly inconsistent trend is present in Victoria, while a stable rainfall pattern exists in Washington.
The highest rainfall recorded in Victoria was 100mm in December, and for Washington, it was nearly the same, but it was captured in May and September. Similarly, the lowest number observed for Victoria was around 18 mm in the month of July. On the other hand, the smallest reading for Washington was 60mm, around three folds more than the other city, Victoria had a few dry months in terms of the amount of precipitation. January marked a considerable amount of rainfall, then a slight decline was observed, and it went down to the lowest number in July. After that, a sudden increase in the amount was captured till December, where the amount was the highest. In contrast, Washington had a fairly consistent pattern throughout the year.
