The map illustrates how the layout of the infrastructure in one city changed between 1980 and 2020.
Overall, it is noticeable that the infrastructure underwent a number of substantial transformations, with the most prominent being the appearance of new buildings like schools, warehouses, parking, business courses, and a residential area, with the disappearance of green spaces.
In 1980, six houses were built in the corner of the southwest side, which were surrounded by a road, whereas two markets were situated on the opposite side of the road. Furthermore, tennis courts were constructed in front of several houses, while on the opposite side of the road, there was a swimming pool. Notably, four parks were situated on the east, while forests were laid at the corner of the northeast side, which had a leather factory located next to it.
By 2020, the road was extended from west to east, which was divided into three areas. On the west side of the road, tennis courts were destroyed and replaced by a new car park, which was equipped with a gas pump station located next to it. Subsequently, the disappearance of houses made way for a new residential area. On the other side, a new school was built while markets and parks were demolished. On the bottom side, while the leather factory was still unchanged over the period, a new warehouse was established in front of it. Notably, new business courses were constructed on the northeast side while forests were destroyed.
