The maps illustrate transformation of a city’s infrastructure between 1980 and 2020. Overall, the city evolved from an area with natural elements to a more urbanized environment with developed infrastructure.
In 1980, the town had a leather factory on the top of the map, and a group of trees to the right. A swimming pool and tennis courts were located on the left side, adjacent to a small residential area with private houses. Also, markets and gardens were situated in the right side of the region.
By 2020, new branches of a road appeared in the center of the map, dividing the region into three parts. Plus, the leather factory remained in place, but the swimming pool got replaced by new warehouses, along with a business center and supermarket, nearby. The residential area expanded, with modern apartments replacing private houses, and a new parking, with a petroleum station, was constructed in the proximity. Across the road, a new school and mall were built in the right end of the city.
