Task Response

The report addresses the task, but it contains some irrelevant or inaccurate information. The organization is present but could be improved. The analysis lacks depth and could benefit from more specific details and comparisons. To improve, focus on providing a more structured overview, using more precise language, and expanding on the key changes with supporting details.

Coherence & Cohesion

The report lacks clear organization and logical flow. The ideas are not well-connected, and the transitions between sentences and paragraphs are abrupt. The report would benefit from a clearer structure, such as grouping information about specific areas or features and using transition words to guide the reader. For example, you could dedicate a paragraph to the changes in buildings, another to traffic, and another to greenery. Using cohesive devices like 'in contrast,' 'similarly,' 'furthermore,' and 'however' can improve the flow of ideas.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive. There is limited use of specific or descriptive language. To improve, try to use synonyms and more precise words to describe the changes. For example, instead of repeatedly saying 'a lot of cars,' you could use phrases like 'increased traffic volume' or 'a higher density of vehicles.' Instead of 'new buildings,' consider 'modern high-rises' or 'contemporary architecture.' Also, avoid informal language like 'unpopular'. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The report contains numerous grammatical errors, including incorrect verb tenses, subject-verb agreement issues, and awkward phrasing. For example, 'Dubai in the past has only few buildings' should be 'Dubai in the past had only a few buildings.' 'No cars in the past means that Dubai that time was unpopular' is grammatically incorrect and unclear. To improve, focus on using correct verb tenses (past simple for describing past conditions, present simple for general statements), ensuring subject-verb agreement, and constructing clear and concise sentences. Review basic grammar rules and practice writing with attention to accuracy.
