In modern times, Dubai is considered to be one of the most developed cities in the world. State-of-the-art architecture, buisness hub, the city of lights; Dubai has become the destination for tourists, students, and corporations alike.
However, as it is said, that Rome was not built in a day, similarly, Dubai also grew into the city it is today.
If one was to compare the city in the past and in the present, one of the most striking differences is that in infrastructure. While the city barely had any high-rises back in the day, today, one can see skyscrapers as far as the eye can see.
Furthermore, initially, Dubai barely had any vehicles on the roads, owing in part to the lack of infrastructure and to the limited opportunities presented by the area. Now, Dubai is one of the most inter-connected cities, with a multitude of cars travelling the roads every day.
In conclusion, Dubai has undergone a massive development, leading to it becoming one of the top places in the world. A city that never sleeps.
