The maps illustrate how the layout of Springer town has changed since 1970. Overall, the town has gone through on urbanization and expansion, as it now incorporates additional areas focused on accommodations, educating students, trading places, and making more accesible.
In 1970, the town of Springer featured on farmland south-east corner, houses located in the middle and in the north-west of the town, and a shopping center situated between the houses. The town was surrounded with extensive forests and roads running through the town.
By today, the farmland has been significantly reduced in size to accommodate new apartments and houses. The farmland in the north-east corner has been replaced by an airport. A new school has been constructed in the town center, and it surrounded with shops. The shopping center is the only place that has been retained. Finally, new infrastucture, including a shedloads of roads have been introduced within the town.
