The line graph illustrates the number of different types of fast food eaten in Canada for 20 years starting from 1970. It is obvious that the amount of hamburgers and fish&chips have similar trends, while pizza has drastically different situation.
Both, hamburgers and fish&chips were slightly rising from 1970 to 1980. After that the number of fish&chips dramatically increased, reaching its peak of 500 grams per week in 1990. Meanwhile, the amount of hamburgers continued to grow minimally till 1985, after that it also significantly rose to almost 300 grams per week.
However, the number of pizza consumption in Canada had been decreasing for 15 years and reached its minimum of 200 grams by 1985. Then it slightly grew to the same level as it was in 1980.
Overall it is clear that fish&chips was becoming more popular in Canada throughout these years alongside with hamburgers, whereas pizza was losing its positions during this time.
