The line graph displays the information about the quadrillion units consumption of energy in the USA between the years 1980-2030.
Overall, it can be seen that the Petrol and OIl line showed significant increase, while the coal and natural gas experienced some fluctuating. However, hydropower slightly decreased during the whole period, showing the lowest result.
The graph demonstrates gradual growth from 35 to around 45 quadrallion units of the petrol and oil during the years, remaining stable in the period between 2005 and 2015. The coal and natural gas demonstrate lower result, rising from just over 15 to just under 30, and from 20 to around 25 quadrallion units respectively. Over the last 20 years natural gas experienced a period of stability, while coal increased sharply.
By contrast, the nuclear, and the solar/wind showed the worst results, staying slightly fluctuated during the whole period, meanwhile the hydropower slightly decreased, remaining stable just under the last 20 years.
