The map pictured the changes of a city in the 1950s and the present time. Overall, the city has evidently experienced a massive development. Both the residential and business areas has grown exponentially. There is a lake that sits in the middle of the landscape with a dam on the east side.
In 1950s, the city was only a small portion of what it is today. The business area is placed on the southern part, connected by a bridge on top of a river that leads to goverment building. The suburban area resides on the north side, roughly the same size as the business district. The airport was located on the southeastern part of the city. There were two major roads that started from the west and south side, respectively.
Now, the city is seperated into two by a lake. The residential area has grown expenditiously, surrounding the business area that has doubled in size. The river is now connected to the lake, which ends with a dam on the eastern side. Airport is now double than what it used to be and there is a road in the southwest area that are connected to the other roads.
