The table presents data on the number of full-tine students from India studied at six universities in the UK in 2020/2021 and 2021/2022.
Overall, it is clear that Coventry, BPP and the university of Greenwich recorded the highest percentage, whereas Sheffield university had the lowest figure in 2020/2021. The figures increased for all universities.
Coventry and the university of Greenwich showed similar numbers at 2,390 and 2,455, respectively, in 2020/21. Both figures increased significantly to 5,290 for Coventry and 4,540 for Greenwich in 2021/22. The figure for BPP, which was the highest number, rose dramatically from 3,505 to 5,145, showing similar trends with Coventry. By contrast, Sheffield made up the lowest figure at 815 in 2020/21, increasing to 2,345 in 2021/22. Angila Ruskin and Leicester universities experienced a steadily rise. The former from 1,925 to 3,265 and the latter from 1, 175 to 2,390 between 2020/21 and 2021/22.
Regarding changes, Coventry recorded the biggest numbers at 2,900, followed by the university of Greenwich at 2,085. By comparison, Angila Ruskin and Leicester universities had the lowest figure at 1,340 and 1,215. The most increases were in Shefield and Coventry, recording 187.7 and 121.3, respectively, while BPP university constituted at 46.8, which was the lowest figure.
