The table illustrates the amount of money that developed countries such as USA, EU and other countries provided to developing countries between 2006 to 2010.
It can be clearly observed that the overall amount of money provided to developing countries increased from year to year. It was 15,7 million dollars in 2006 and was almost double 28,1million dollars in 2010. Compared to EU and other countries, the USA offered the largest amount of money to developing countries in all these years. In 2006, the amount of money that the USA provided was 9,8 million dollars and significantly increased to 11, 17 million dollars in 2007 and 2008 respectively. However, in 2009, it slightly decreased to 16,7 million dollars and considerably increased to 20,3 million dollars a year later.
Regarding the EU and other countries, the amount of money offered to developing countries has some fluctuations. In 2006, it was 3,1 and 2,8 million dollars respectively which were one third of money that the USA provided. It went up to 3,9 and 3,5 million dollars in 2008 before falling down to 3,6 and 3,2 million dollars in 2009 respectively. In 2010, the amount of money that EU and other countries provided to developing countries rose to 4,1 and 3,7 million dollars, which were approximately five times less than that of USA.
