In 2000, business was the most popular subject among students by obtaining 3000 applications while, engineering faced a reduction in applications at 2500, same goes for biology which followed at 1500. However, social work experienced an increase at 1400.
Business again shows its strong position in 2010, in terms of choice of students by obtaining 4000 applications, while popularity of social work also rose as 1900 people applied to this which is significantly greater than the previous years. Engineering experienced the lowest demand at 600 and biology followed at 900 applications indicating less demanding subjects among the people.
