Dear Sir or Madam,
I trust that this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to let you know that residents are very disappointed with the decision regarding demolishing our prehistorical building in Centrum, which was built in 1945, after The Second World War. Due to this fact, The Victory Tower symbolises freedom, which our grand-grand parents achieved for us. Moreover, this building paid respect to all soldiers, who lost their life, because of war.
Instead of demolishing this building, I recommend asking people to contribute with donations for the following reconstruction. In addition, we can write an official letter to the European Union to the Department of Historical Building, which disposes of budged and supports conservation, and rebuilding of these types of projects. I supposed that both examples could raise enough money for everything that this tower required for the next 10 years.
Consequently, not only residents but also our town, especially Humenne’s treasure, will benefit from this project. Historical attraction invites visitors from our country and people from abroad. Therefore, hotels, restaurants, parking spaces, new employee opportunities and tickets from town contribute to increasing income and taxes, which leads to improving and enhancing of living level in Humenne.
Thank you for consideration of my complaint and I look forward to your decision and response.
Yours faithfully,
Nikol Sak
