It’s easy to see that New York experiences the greatest temperature variation throughout the year, while Sydney has the opposite trend. London has a more stable temperature range. In terms of the total annual hours of sunshine, New York and Sydney receive more than twice as many hours as London.
In January, Sydney is the warmest city at about 25°C, while New York and London are much colder, around 5°C and 10°C. From March to July, the temperature in New York goes up quickly, reaching over 30°C in July. In contrast, Sydney’s temperature falls gradually to about 15°C in July. London also becomes warmer, but the temperature only rises to about 20°C in July and August.
After July, New York’s temperature decreases dramatically, reaching approximately 5°C in December. Sydney’s temperature follows the opposite trend, increase again to around 25°C in December. London’s temperature remains more stable compared to the other two cities.
Regarding sunshine, New York has the most sunshine hours (2,535), followed by Sydney (2,473). London gets much less sunshine, with only 1,180 hours per year.
In conclusion, New York has the biggest temperature changes, Sydney has the opposite trend, and London remains mild with little sunshine.
