Overall, there was a gradual decline in the number of people who born throughout period of time in USA and China, however both countries witnessed a fluctuation and peak point in the birth rate in the first years.
In 1920, the birth rate in China higher than USA, about 1years, beginning at just over 11 and 10, respectively. However, in the following years, both countries saw a long-term fluctuation by 15 years, between 1920 to 1935. Over 5 years later, the rate of birth dropped rapidly to reach 5 for both countries, which was followed by a sudden increase with the rate reaching a peak of 20 and 15 in 1955 for USA and China, respectively.
In 1955 to 1960, USA experienced a sharp decline to a low of 10 in 1960, although in China, there was minimal drop to reach less than 13 in this year. Next, 1960 to 2000, there was the same pattern for both countries, witnessed a gradual fall in the birth rate at the end of this period to just over 5 for China, and approximately just under 3 for USA.
