The global automobile sales in China were remained for 4th quarter and 1st quarter, which reached their highest percentage of sales from 20% in 2007 to about 20% in 2008.However, the global automobile sales in China were 2nd quarter decreased steadily to above 10% in 2008, before falling steadily to -3% of global automobile sales in China. By contrast, the proportion of worldwide automobiles sold on USA 4th quarter and 1st quarter grew slightly from -2% to about -8% between 2007 and 2008. Moreover, in 2008, the rate of global automobile sales in the United States, which increased rapidly from -85 to -18%.
On the other hand, the global automobiles sold in Japan in 4th quarter, 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, and 3rd quarter, were -2%, -1%, -1%, and -2% from 2007 to 2008 respectively. In 2007, only 2% of global automobile sales in 1st quarter in Western Europe, which negative declined was -3% by 2008, before jumping from -3% to -10% of Western Europe in 2008.
