The total users of mobile phones rose to 300 million people and exceeded that of fixed telephone lines by 2002, when the number of internet users was half of personal mobile phones, at 150 million people. The technology of mobile phone became increasingly widespread by 2005, climbing to 450 million people, while this figure was 350 million people for domestic telephone lines.
