The line graph compares the use of three different communication options – fixed telephone line, mobile phone, and internet in a particular country between 1994 and 2005.
Overall, there was an increase among the all categories over the period. While a lot of people chose to use fixed telephone line in the initial years, these people then changed their option to mobile phones in the final years.
Turning to the details, fixed telephone line started the chart with 25 million people while mobile and internet began at none during two and three years. The highest one increased further to 200 million people in the year 2000, while other options – mobile phones and internet grew to 175 million and 100 million respectively.
Looking at the rest of the period, the use of mobile phone increased considerably to 450 million people and surpassed the figures of fixed phone line at the end. Fixed telephone line then increased regularly to 350 million people, whereas the figures for internet reached 200 million people in 2005 respectively.
