Overall, The sales of Milk chocolate rose significantly, surpassing other types of chocolate. In contrast, The sales of white chocolate increase gradually, but ended as the least popular. While, The sales of dark chocolate was seen to have a gradual increased throughout the period
The rate of sales of Milk chocolate initially started with the lowest proportion of sales with roughly 2 percents, then it jumped rapidly in the period between 2007 and 2008 to become the highest sales. Similarly, Dark chocolate was firstly dominated the sales around 6 percents and grew steadily in the next 4 years time. In addition, it hit a dipped during the year 2010 with the rate of sales at 7 percents, then it increased gradually again throughout the year.
On the other hand, The sales of white chocolate increased suddenly in the first year from 3 percents to 6 percents of sale. However, on the following year, it dropped back to its initial value but rose dramatically to nearly 7 percents in 2009. The sales began to decreased again and hit a dipped in the middle of year 2010 to below 5 percents of the sale. Furthermore, the sales started to increased to nearly 6 percents but declined drastically to under 1 percent at the end of the year.
