Overall, it would appear from the data that all categories showed an upward trend in the final given year with the exception of Paris.
To begin, it can be observed that Paris was the most popular, which means starting at 75 million in 2000. Following this, the figure witnessed a moderate increase to 95 million in the next half decade, before declining to 92 million in 2015.
Furthermore, in stark contrast, London, Moscow, Istanbul, and Madrid were under 40 million each in 2000. In other words, Madrid and Istanbul were the most unpopular places for visit nearly around 15 million, both gradually grew at under 30 million, however, the former being overtaken by Istanbul in 2005 until 2015. Moscow and London followed at 25 million and 35 million respectively in the first year. Then, the latter surged significantly to 65 million in 2005, and continuous rise to 92 million in 2015 which same position with Paris, and first place went to both two cities in the end. Finally, Moscow was also moderately soar to over 50 million in 2015.
