The line chart provides data on the percentage of foreign traveller arrivals in five countries between 1995 and 2010.
Overall, the main trend for all five countries was decidedly upward over time. In particular, France experienced the fastest growth of foreign visitors compared with the other 4 countries
In 1995, the proportion of foreign tourists in France started to increase rapidly, more than half from 30 to 60, while the increase in the USA just slightly changed. Both the USA and France continued to rise during the period spanning 2000–2005, but the gap between 60 and 80 was still large. But the result was particularly noticeable in 2010, when both of them were almost equal, around 90 million per each.
However, Malaysia moderately increased in over 10 years and just significantly grew after 2005, but the gap of foreign visitors between Malaysia and other two different countries was definitely big. The figures for Brazil and Egypt remained low but steady, at around 10 to 20. Egypt initiated a rise over most of the period shown; thus, Brazil hit the lowest point in 2010 and became the country with the lowest percentage of foreign visitors.
