It is evident that the most common activity for children at all ages is reading while eating is the least popular for those over 4 years old and watching TV is the least favorite for children under 3 years old.
Starting with reading, it is the most common activity for all children with the highest proportion belonging to those aged 4-5, at 70%. Additionally, the figure for those aged under 3 is higher than the figure for children aged over 6, at 65% and 60% respectively. Brushing teeth is the second most common activity for children with those over 6 years old and 4-5 years old accounting for half and 45% each. In addition, the figure for those under 3 years old is 30%.
Turning to having a bath, the percentage of children who are in different age groups do this activity as the bedtime routine fluctuates from 30% to 40%. Moreover the figure for children aged 4-5 years old watching TV before going to bed is higher than the figure for those aged over 6 and under 3 with the former being at 20% and the latter being at 15%. Furthermore, the proportion of children under 3 eating before bedtime doubles the figure for those over, at 20% and 10% respectively.
